Collecting feedback where no one is left out

Zorgkeuze started as an idea: a new service for healthcare organizations that want to structurally measure client satisfaction. The client saw opportunities in the sector but had no existing product. The platform was built from scratch.

The result is a SaaS application where healthcare organizations compose their own surveys with a drag-and-drop builder, securely distribute them to clients, and view the results in real-time dashboards. Monthly reports are automatically generated based on the chosen subscription plan.

What makes this project special is the target audience. The surveys are completed by clients of healthcare organizations—people of all ages and with varying disabilities. Accessibility was not a nice-to-have but a hard requirement. The survey interface is fully WCAG-compliant: usable with screen readers, navigable by keyboard, and designed for maximum readability.

The platform is prepared for NEN 7510 certification, the standard for information security in healthcare. The compliance update will be completed in the near term.

Effectively collecting and utilizing client feedback

Healthcare organizations wanted to collect feedback structurally but ran into practical and technical obstacles. The existing process was manual, insecure, and poorly scalable. The new platform had to solve all of these problems at once:

1. New product from scratch. There was no existing application to build on. Everything—from data model to business logic to interface—had to be designed and built.
2. Accessibility as a hard requirement. Surveys must be completable by everyone, including blind users and people without an email address. WCAG compliance is not a checkbox but an ongoing design decision in the client-facing components.
3. Flexible subscription model. Multiple subscription tiers, each with different features, permissions, and reporting levels. The authorization logic had to be easily extensible.
4. Strict privacy requirements. Client data in healthcare is sensitive. Every step in data processing must be demonstrably secure, compliant with GDPR, and prepared for NEN 7510.
